DelEx had signed strategic alliance with a leading airline in India for their India domestic air cargo operations, under which DelEx is responsible for India domestic PUDO operations (PickUp and Delivery Operations), taking care of first mile pickup, last mile delivery and the complete set of processes associated with it.
Under this alliance agreement DelEx is responsible for setting up the entire PUDO infrastructure complete with office setup, IT systems to seamlessly book, track and deliver the shipments across the network, Deploy experienced manpower and to deploy fully customized and specifically designed pickup and delivery fleet of vehicles.
Below is a glimpse of the PUDO infrastructure created by DelEx for handling domestic air cargo network:
- No of PUDO centers (service locations): 70
- Team strength: 415 executives, data entry operators, operators etc.,
- Vehicle Fleet: 218 (TATA-407, TATA-ACE, TATA-Winger, Maruti-Omini)
- IT software: Web hosted (dot net front-end, SQL backend) accessible on broadband
- IT Hardware: More than 300 laptops + 125 high-end laser printers, scanners, hand-held data capturing devices
